Frequently asked questions
The questions we get most often, answered plainly. If yours isn't here, call us — we would rather tell you this isn't a fit than sell you something that isn't.
About the platform
It is an interactive therapy system. Projection hardware and motion sensors turn a floor, wall or table
into a responsive game surface, and a library of eight activities maps those games to therapeutic
goals — balance, reaching, grip, sensory regulation and speech. The child plays; the clinically useful
movement happens inside the play.
No. NoPainHeals is a therapy support and engagement tool. It does not diagnose, treat or make clinical
decisions, and it is always used under the direction of a qualified therapist who remains responsible
for the treatment plan.
It is designed for children with autism and special needs who are working on motor, sensory or speech
goals in physiotherapy, occupational therapy or speech therapy. Whether it suits a particular child —
including any sensitivity to light, sound or screens — is a clinical judgement for their therapist.
No, and it isn't designed to. The therapist chooses the activity, sets the difficulty, watches movement
quality and interprets the data. The system handles delivery and record-keeping so more of the
therapist's attention goes to the clinical work.
Setup & training
It depends on the configuration. A wall or table setup fits a standard therapy room; floor projection
wants a clear area for the child to move across. We assess your actual room and recommend what suits
it before anything is ordered.
Most installations are completed without structural changes — hardware is mounted and calibrated to
your existing room. If your space does need something unusual, we will tell you at the survey stage
rather than on the day.
Therapists are generally running sessions the same day. Training covers choosing an activity, adjusting
difficulty and reading the session summary — no technical background needed. Support continues after
handover.
It depends on which activities you take and the configuration your room needs, so we quote after the
demo and room survey rather than publishing a list price. Most clinics start with one or two activities
and add more later.
Data & privacy
Activity-level measures such as attempts, accuracy and time-on-task — the information a therapist would
otherwise write on a clipboard. Your clinic remains the custodian of its own patient records and
decides what is shared with parents and referrers.
Yes — demos are free and carry no obligation. Remote demos are available if you are not near Anand, and
we are happy to speak to your therapists directly rather than only to whoever signs off the purchase.
