The NoPainHeals Kiosk
One wheeled station that holds everything a therapy session needs — table unit, projector, Balance Board, speaker, mike, two cameras and the processing unit.
What it is
The Kiosk is the NoPainHeals station for Personal Use and Small Clinic. Rather than assembling a projector, cameras, speaker and computer around a room, everything arrives in one piece of furniture that is rolled into place and ready to use.
A dark upright panel carries a camera on its own arm, a work surface sits at the front, and a folding side shelf opens out when you need extra space and closes away when you do not. Below, a lockable cabinet and two drawers keep the smaller parts tidy between sessions.
Built to move
The cabinet stands on locking castors, so it can be wheeled from a treatment room to a corner of the living room and then fixed in place. It runs the same activities wherever it is: every NoPainHeals activity except SandBox, which belongs to the Large Clinic room.
What comes with it
Seven components, supplied together.
Table unit setup
×1The cabinet and work surface that everything else is built into, with its upright panel and folding side shelf.
Projector
×1Puts the games onto the surface the child is working on.
Balance Board
×1The tilting platform for balance and postural control work. See Balance Board.
Speaker
×1Game sound and prompts, so children hear the result of what they do.
Mike
×1Picks up the child's voice for speech activities such as Vocal.
Cameras
×2Two cameras let the system follow what the child is doing, one of them on the arm of the upright panel.
Processing unit
×1The computer that runs the activities and records each session.
Who it is for
Personal Use
A family continuing therapy at home between clinic visits. One Kiosk, one child profile, and every activity except SandBox.
Small Clinic
An individual therapist or single-room practice. The same Kiosk covers up to 20 children, one session at a time, with session records and progress reporting.
Larger than a Kiosk?
A clinic, special school or development centre fitting out a whole room should look at the Large Clinic setup, where all eight activities can run at once.
